What is the cost to take a tour?
Tours of Sahuaro Ranch are free however a per person donation is appreciated.
Sahuaro Ranch is a city park owned by the city of Glendale Arizona.
Manistee Ranch tour fees:  Adults $5.00, Seniors & Veterans (with ID) $4.00, Ages 6-16 $1.00
Manistee Ranch is privately owned by the Glendale Arizona Historical Society.
​​When are tours given?
​Tours for Sahuaro Ranch Main House are by appointment only.
Tours for Manistee Ranch are the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from October through April.  Tours are from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Last tour starts at 3:00 p.m.

Schedules are subject to change without notice.  We are closed most major holidays.

Can I take photographs of Sahuaro Ranch and Manistee Ranch park grounds?
A permit is required to take pictures of the Sahuaro Ranch park property and are issued by the City of Glendale.
A GAHS photography permit must be obtained from the historical society for to photograph on the grounds of Manistee Ranch. The permit information and conditions may be found here

How do I get to Manistee Ranch?

To get to the entrance of Manistee Ranch enter off of the west side of 51th Avenue south of Northern Avenue. The entrance is south of the line of stores in the Walgreen’s shopping center. Enter going West through the divided parking lot onto the hard packed dirt road, then turn and drive a short distance west towards the Manistee Ranch Main House.
